Dr. Naomi was born and raised in Michigan where she earned her Associate and Bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology/Exercise Science with honor from Lansing Community College and Michigan State University, respectively. Following graduation, she worked as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) for 6 years while assisting in clinical research and completing additional coursework at Grand Valley State University and Aquinas College. Thereafter, she moved to Washington and completed the 4-year doctoral program in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University. After receiving her license, she worked as a resident under Dr. Klinghardt for 2 years and received her certification in Autonomic Response Testing (ART) from the Institute for Neurobiology (INK). Her professional memberships include GastroANP and NAEM.
What is ART?
Autonomic Response Testing (ART) is a non-invasive biofeedback method that utilizes the connection between the autonomic nervous system and the musculoskeletal system to identify dysfunction in the body. It detects non-coherent biophoton emissions—scattered energy signals—which are associated with stressed or weakened tissues and organs. These findings, combined with other clinical assessments, help create personalized treatment plans that target root causes and support the body’s natural healing processes.
